Something funny happened to me at work today.
I was helping a customer debug something with his server.
The server runs an OS based on Linux and he had trouble
seeing users from a trusted windows domain.

So, I turned on a debugging utility for winbindd. After about
10 minutes there was a 2mb log, so I went to lunch. When I
came back there was a 162MB text file.

When I opened it in MS Word it took about 15 minutes and
finally errored out that I reached the maximum number of pages
supported in a Word doc.

I had reached 32,000 pages. Hahah.

Anyway, I thought it was funny.

Is that just the *.doc format, or is it Word in general? Do txt and rtf formats support higher page counts?

Damn 16 bit applications... was it 32,000 exactly, or 32,767 pages?
