Thrashdonians in Republic Commando

Anyone beat this asshole yet? Boss guy in the Acclamator. I just can beat the fucker. Tried anti armor rounds, tried EMP gernades, ect. What's his weakness or is it something else?

Never mind, thought it was some sort of boss, but wasn't. Couple good sniper shots put him down. Armored Thrashdonians or whatever.
