Awesome. I got a kick out of the last bit with Zelda. Not only did it look hilarious with the guy and his sword and boomerang, but earlier today I had tried humming that same tune, and it's nearly impossible. I noticed they were having a hard time on the same part, where it gets really high pitched...

That was fucking SWEET!!! What was strange, was it took me a while to figure out the Tetris theme and what they were doing. I play the GB version every other day, and it just perplexed me momentarily. I was waiting for the Zelda theme, but the whole damn piece was awesome.

That was really cool. I almost didn't recognize the Mortal Kombat music (got it about half a second before the shout). Very funny. Who are they, BTW?

Heh! That's great! Though IIRC the music in Tetris is some Russian folkmusic or something (sounds cosacky too) so it's not all "original from Japan"... Though that Tetris... dance... was hilarious!

At first, I thought they completely broke away from game music into classical music because I couldn't figure out the dance was supposed to be Tetris. I want to find the real song now...

Anyone else find it funny that the one guy couldn't go as low as necessary for the Mario theme directly following the Mortal Kombat theme? I found I can go lower than him.

Also, what were they singing before this? The guy said that the Nintendo music was older than what they've been singing. That doesn't leave much good music to sing.

it was. given that tetris was originally developed by a russian scientist as a mental exercise for russian cosmonauts.

Yep, hence the classical Russian theme so often associated with the game (and so often hated by my mother desite her addiction :P).

I loved the Zelda piece too, now I'm going to be playing the orchestral and Windwaker theme all night!

It looked like it was going to be really lame at the beginning, but it was actually really cool. Took a few seconds for me to remember where some of those were from though.

It's called Korobeiniki. I have a somewhat jazzy-sounding version of it, it kicks ass. :D
