There's an interview video clip that also shows some in-game action.
The new units for the other four races are, I believe,
- Fire Dragons for Eldar
- Chaplain for Space Marines
- Mega-Armoured Nobz for Orks
- Khorne Berzerkers for Chaos
I think they'll also be moving some units around up or down the tech tree, maybe, like maybe make Nob squads early so that Orks have a heavy infantry unit to work with early on and make the mega-armoured ones late-game.
Expected release date is about September 2005, IIRC.
I'm looking forward to this.

The faction's top-level superunit is the "baneblade," a gigantic mobile weapons platform with 11 mounted guns, including a humongous main cannon with two troopers to man it and constantly reload ammunition, alternately passing shells and plugging their fingers in their ears (and rocking back and forth) with each thunderous shot.
Sounds like he mixed up the Basilisk and the Baneblade, but exciting nonetheless. I like the idea of randomised units in a squad. (If you look in the second screenshot, you can see some of the Guardsmen with stormtrooper-ish helmets such as my avatar.)

Nah, that's a baneblade alright. Doesn't look like the basilisk is in there at all, which is a pity.
With the Leman Russ, and the Chimera and the Baneblade and the Sentinel from the screenshots, that pretty much rounds out the selection of vehicles we can expect the guard to have.
Gotta admit, I'm a little curious what troop choices they're gonna put in... Besides the regular squads, and the Ogryns which have already been mentioned. I expect Ratling snipers, bu there really should be at least two more troop choices after this to round the force out, I'm just not sure what they're gonna be.

I'm pretty sure I saw a bassie in the video. Check around the 39 second mark.

You're right, they've got the basilisk in there too.
Although that big massive tank in the video and the screenshots is a baneblade, that much I am sure of.

Certainly, what I meant was that the Baneblade doesn't, to the best of my knowledge, have an exposed main gun which allows you to see the men loading it. The Basilisk, on the other hand, does.

The new units for the other four races are, I believe,
- Fire Dragons for Eldar
now if they will just include my beloved Harlies.

They need Shining Spears, Striking Scorpions and Dire Avengers. Get all the Aspects in there, let the Biel Tan fans make a Court of the Young King.

Having watched the video again, I was struck by one thing; in what seems to be most of the shots of a Sentinel walking or firing, it seems to be destroyed by the end of the clip. Methinks the HAB would be proud.

Yeah, it's like he started off talking about the baneblade, then kinda switched over to talking about the basilisk without noticing it.
You just can't get competent reveiwers these days.

I'd say the basilisk is the fixed gun emplacement talked about in the blurb.

I wouldn't rule it out, though we do see a self-propelled Basilisk gun in the video. (At about 0:40)

UPDATE: You can see the DOW:WA cover art
here, as well as a story summary.
Essentially, it's about a race between the different factions to recover/corrupt/destroy a
Emperor-class Titan.
More info on the game, as well as several new screenshots and close-ups of the models can be found
here.

They have a much lower level of commitment to battle, which means they'll break and run like a bunch of wussies when the going gets tough. It's not really surprising considering the Imperial Guard is basically made up of drafted bumpkins that don't really know what they've gotten into.
Bastards. And they didn't say what the Guard's commander unit was.

It's the Imperial Captain, if that's what you mean.

Hmph. The Imperial Guard are fine, highly-motivated and well-trained warriors, the backbone of the Imperium's eternal war against the forces of darkness.
Questioning the zeal and devotion of the Guard is treason against the Imperium and heresy against the eternal wisdom of Him on Terra.

Commissar, I believe that these heathens have not been sufficiently educated on the nature of our Beloved Emperor and the place of the Imperial Guard in His divine plan. I believe some of our penal units could use reinforcements. See to it.

At once, Lord Inquisitor.
Breaking OOC here... god, I can't wait for this add-on to get out. I've played some of the Cadian mod, and it is so immensely satisfying to actually outnumber the Mighty Mushroom Warriors for a change.

An Emperor class Titan.
I wonder how much of that thing they'll actually show in the game. Like maybe it's toe.

Wouldn't something that big be visible from orbit?

If it's not disguised as a mountain or something.

Waaaait just a damn minute. After that 'INSERT EXPANSION PACK HERE' cheapass copout of an ending...they're going off on some random tangent for the story? What the holy howling /FUCK?/

*shrug* the ending sucked, let's just say the warp storm arrived early and killed everyone.
