What are your thoughts? Is it worth it? Or will it become another run of the mill FPS?

Any word on a PC release? Last time I heard info about Ghost they were going to release it on every platform BUT PC.

They specifically said that there wasn't going to be a PC release. They might have changed their minds since then but I doubt it.

And yes, I know how dumb that is.

Why? It looks terrible.

I just have a feeling it'll be a new classic. Just like 'Fallout: BOS', 'X-Com Enforcer', 'C&C Renegade'. All strategy/RPG titles that decided to make a FPS/TPS and look where they are now...

I'll reserve judgement on it until I make a rental.

Blizzard has yet to release a game that didn't reach epic scales, but unless this one plays a hell of a lot better then it looks I don't know how they're going to pull this one off.

The infested Terrans look like football players with big styrofoam claws that have just spilled gravy on themselves.

Actually, they said they hope to have it finished 1st half of 2006. So they've still got a bit of time to whip it into shape. They're going to need it.

Nova herself looks much better over her first incarnation... textures look way sharper... but damn if Blizzard doesn't need to learn how to make a proper character model.

When I played Warcraft 2 I blinked at the monitor several times. It was pretty much a "WTF? Is that it?" moment. Starcraft ruined me.

On the other hand I ate Diablo like sugar. Then Diablo 2, my god... that was sugar AND spice. Warcraft 3 was like Warcraft 2 - "WTF, thank god I didn't pay real money for this."

This looks horrible. AND about 2002. Haven't they been making it since then? Maybe these are old images. Or the poor console images...

It would of been OK looking if it came out last year, or the year before....
Wouldn't surprise me if they held it over for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Its a good idea but I wish they'd ditch it and devote some more time / start on Starcraft 2....

You didn't like Warcraft 2, Stofsk? That's .... scary. It was Warcraft 3 that sucked, not Warcraft 2. Though few people admit War3 is a very mediocre game, unfortunately.

That Ghost Trailer looks like crap, and some of those screenshots are horrible,

I think they were likely aiming at a '98 release date. Because there's no way that'd pass by anyone's standards in the 21st century.

Nah, that curved wall is beyond Quake 2, I think. Looks more like Quake 3 on the "ass" setting.
