STGOD2K5 Restart

Post by Thirdfain »

Post your thoughts on a restart of the STGOD here. We are assuming 6 months have passed since the lasst game post, enough for each power to have completed a build order. Post thoughts on the subject, and we can see who's jumping back in the fire.

I'm ready to go!
Might I suggest everyone writes a 6month oob. A recap as to what happened, most of it trivial fluff of course. But 6 months is a long time for an stgod, so I think it's fair people can add a little to their storys and such.

I'm game. Gives me time to finish the build cycle so I don't have to write a dozen transitional OOBs. I'll be scarce for the next few days, due to still being in West "By God" Virginia til Wednesday, but hey, let's get this party started.

I am able and willing to post a 6month OOB and what not whenever. It won't be that difficult for me to pull that off, although the recap might be a little thin.

Perhaps build oders could be posted in a different fashion?

Like:

"I began building ships at the beginning of the game, that build was
(Classification) <Low, Normal, Buildup, Wartime, Emergancy>
X cap points
Y cru points
Z Esc points

I've added the following to my build order, because, considering my circumstances and the extra time, I think I have a reasonable excuse for making them.
(Classification)
A cap
B cru
Z Esc"

Save the names and crap for the oob post :P

My buildups have already been posted, and as it's A) reasonably close to a year, and B) I'm presuming some was pre-begun, I'm just putting the new-builds in to save time. As I'm not in the midst of a major war, timing isn't the highest priority, I'll just undershoot some deployments for a month or two.

They average out to one point each. Since Kzin ships operate only in combined operations I didn't feel the need to fuck around with assigning precise point values to each of them.

You should still assign point values though.

Doh, thread made me realise I had far too many Lawgivers under construction according to their points value. I'll just say 1 Lawgiver has been completed, and 4 escorts. Is that ok?
