Okay, just idly wondering here, but...how many people on the boards used to play Jedi Knight?
Also, would anyone know how a broke college student might be able to get his paws on a copy of said game, online or something...?

I've played it (and the add-on too), but as far as I know it is not free and I can't place download links

I used to play it, and still do from time to time. You might be able to get a copy of E-bay or Amazon, and if all else fails there is the tried and true flea market.

Of course, I loved Jedi Knight.

I used to play it and still have it, sadly the disc is scratched and the cutscenes are all out of sync now. Which is a real shame. It's still on sale I think, I bought my copy a couple of years ago as I think they rereleased them following the release of the newer films.

I have it, but I've never played past the first two or three levels.
The original Dark Forces was so much better. Now if only they'd release a version of it with mouselook, it would be perfect.

Still got it. Got two copies in fact.
It is still on sale in some gaming shops, in a £14.99 version that includes the expansion pack, Mysteries of the Sith.

Although, if you have no money or can't find a copy, you're out of luck because there is absolutely positively no possible way whatsoever you could find it on a torrent website.

I've occasionally seen it in the "bargain barrel" at some game stores, so there should still be some copies available for retail out there, but naturally they'll be hard to find.

I don't know if you have Targets in yoru area, (they are like Walmarts) but the ones around here have the game for 10 bucks, was thinking of picking it up, but Walmart had Outcast for the same price and I went for it.

I have it, played through it both light and dark, but never really liked it much. Outcast on the other hand...

I saw it at Target for $2.98. Should I get it? Thing is, I've still got Homeworld, Homeworld 2, Syberia, Syberia II, and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time that I haven't played through yet.

Yes, you should. Its a very fun game, especially for its story element. I enjoyed how you could veer from one side to the other, and, how that effects the story.

That was a good game.
One of my fondest memories was playing against my friend over LAN. He knocked me into a pit with a thermal detonator. I force-jumped over him, and sliced him with my lightsaber from behind.
Later that day, we went to see TPM.
And the messages you get for killing someone. "So and so has become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." Gold.

That was fun. It was great when you killed yourself and got that message too.
Apparently the Jedi have nothing against suicide. I guess you could take the hint with what Obi wan did...I guess that's
technically suicide.
Anyhow, I loved being a dark Jedi. Especially in the Baron's Hed mission. I save all those people...then coldly slaughter every last one of them. I took particular pleasure in cutting down that "Long live the Rebellion!" woman.
And the "You always cause trouble." and "Wish you hadn't killed paying customers." (IIRC) bartenders. Buncha ingrates.
