Setting up a blog

Hey folks. If you haven't taken a look at my web page link, no big deal. It's been sitting idle for a couple of years now, and I realize that's because it's just a pain in the ass to update everything by hand. Dalton's been kind enough to host it all these years, and I was wondering just how arduous a process it would be to set up a blog on that webspace? I'd consider using something like LiveJournal, but my site actually gets quite a few visitors, and I'd like to keep it where it is, just putting a blog in its place. Plus a lot of friends have been insisting that I keep it up-to-date with my witty commentary, and a blog would really be the easiest way to do that.

I've seen some very nice, simple layouts like David Hyatt's, which I really like. Could anyone help me out here?

I tried bBlog out, it was quite easy to set up. Just need webspace and a working php and a mysql database.
Don't have experience with other types, but most php-based stuff is actually quite straight-forward to set up.

It is pretty easy. I've set up Movable Type for some people though I've also heard good things about WordPress.

I set up Bhutannica in five seconds with Blogspot, then deleted it by accident because my hand slipped. But if you are slightly more careful you should be fine.
