Is there a way (or a plugin!) to get images to open in the browser window (or a new browser window) no matter how fucking hard the site they're on tries to force me to download them to disk or open in another program? HELP!

Yes, like it's always been. This is really for sites like Yahoo Mail (particularly image attachments on an email). For some unfathomable reason some of the pics load in the FF window just fine, while others are forced into a download dialog. It has nothing to do with the extension and a bit to do with whether the email-with-pics came from a Yahoo email address or some other service's email. It's really fucking weird and ten times as annoying!

I checked the Mozilla forums, and it's a known problem. Something to do with Yahoo using a weird method of sending the images - here
