Were to get Data for SW RPG?
Can any one tell me how I can get my hands on a starters book for the star wars D6 RPG. I’m a beginner at this shit and would like some data on were I could get my mitts on a free copy of the most basic rules and such. By any rate I would prefer to download the rules rather then purchase a book, any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Forget 'bout going the pirate's way - the board (from what I've seen) doesn't condone that sort of thing out and out.
From the Fetchbook listing, there's a copy available on Amazon Market for a mere four bucks (used, but still) and half.com's got a listing at five, so it's a very big investment, and there're plenty of sites that have statistics for individual ships and such.
EDIT: [Grammer Nazi]You missed an h.[/Grammer Nazi]

I know the generic D6 rules were sold in a small book a few years back, although it's not really enough to play SW (I have the generic book...somewhere...). It won't be easy, though, since WEG is nonexistent nowadays (AFAIK), and all the books are well out-of-print.

Why isn’t that ever an issue of politics? Because you don’t live in a democracy. You live in a plutocracy. Money rules.

I’m thinking about making up my own system for this that would incorporate shit from all over the star wars galaxy and timeline, but of course if I go through with this it will have to be non-profit or get the rights from GL, so he don’t sue my ass of.The Dark wrote:I know the generic D6 rules were sold in a small book a few years back, although it's not really enough to play SW (I have the generic book...somewhere...).
