MVP Baseball 2005

I just got my PC version shipped from the US today. However I have experienced two problems:

1) The frame rate sucks! It starts off fine and then after a few minutes it slows to a crawl. My computer more than matches the minimum specs and I have the latest patch. I have a GeForce 4 440 64MB. Any advice save for upgrading?

2) I am so terrible at batting. My runs come entirely from flukey home runs whereas the CPU score from all sorts of positions. Any tactical tips?

Hmm. Sounds like a good idea to me! Slight problem though - I know very little about video cards. What drivers do I need to use?

Your in luck! You have a Geforce card, and since Nvidia has a shared driver thing going on, If you make sure its for your OS, its the right driver

Head on over to Nvidia's website, go to download/ driver, pick your OS and download the latest WHQ certified driver

Good batting comes with lots of practice. You have to learn to spot where the ball is and what's the best way to try to hit it. Trying to smash every ball out of the park will earn you a few home runs--and a lot of flyouts on the warning track.
