Pretty much any oil is fine given the relatively low voltages found in a computer, the only thing to worry about is the oil slowly degrading and gumming up various parts, and that can be prevented by keeping the case airtight. Personally I'd use mineral oil or the soy-based oils they now use in high voltage capacitors and transformers.Guy N. Cognito wrote:Which oil would you have to use?
