How do you prefer to adjust the volume on your PC?

I'm sorry, but the number you have dialed is imaginary. Please rotate the phone by 90 degrees and try again.

Fiddle with the knob-Dial on the speakers, no remote no software.

Simple=Good.

Dial. The push-buttons on my laptop never seem to work right (the steps are either too insignificant or are too large) and changing it by the master volume controls tends to be more of a hassle then turning a knob, especially when playing a full-screen game.

The dial. It is simple and works!

Depends. If I'm in game then the dial for sure, but if I'm on the desktop I'm likely to use software as I have to reach across my desk to get to the speaker.

Dial. My Logitech keyboard has a dial in the center to control the master volume while I keep my speakers set always on the same volume.

Nobs and dials on my headphones, I buy headphones not speakers because I like that "half deaf" feeling without the neighbhors call the cops.

Dials are manual and easiest to control in relation to the volume that I want.

Using the computer software or that stupid push button may make it jump to more or less than I want it.

Software. I've found that using the dials give me funky audio quality when using my systems.

I don't have any dials, goddamnit, I don't have any!

So I must use the software and this can be a pain in the ass since my comp freaks out when I access volume control, or when the icon in the shortcuts decides to conveniently disappear.

Hardware volume control only. I've set the software volume how i like it, and anyway, it distorts on my system if i set it too high by software. The main dial on my stereo is perfectly fine for volume adjustment anyway.

Software. The box that controls the speakers themselves is a huge pain in the ass to reach.

If I had my old desktop speakers out here, it'd be dial all the way.

Alas, they're too busy being used on, well, my old desktop.

So it's the little pushbuttons on my monitor, since that's what has the speakers right now. It's not the best, but then whenever I go to a computer store I'm always distracted by all the games and never think about speakers. And even if I did, and if I had the money at the time to buy it, I'd still be fucked because I'd wind up blowing it on a game instead.

Either the dial on the speakers, or buttons on the keyboard. I prefer the dial beacuse it makes slight adjustments, but I can't look at the knob and get an idea of how loud it will be like with the buttons, since I've only had the speakers I have now for about a month.

What I'm really tempted to do is turn the speaker volume all the way up, the keyboard volume controls all the way up, and the sound controls all the way up, and hear how loud the resulting sound is.

Dial on the side, and the thing on the headphones. I listen to music wayyy to loudly. I have a 1'4" to 1'8" converter so I can listen to music coming through my guitar amp :)

Dials are good. Quick turn down the music when the phone rings, quick turn it up for a good song. Definately, definately dials.

Use the dial on my headphone amplifier. Set volume to about 60-70dB because I can't afford any more hearing loss.

Dial all the way. The software option is way to complicated.
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

Dial. I don't have buttons (old keyboard), and software's too inaccurate. Amusingly enough, my father came in a few minutes ago with a surplussed pair of speakers from work. Conversation was as follows:

Dad: "Hey, do you want some new speakers?"
Me: "Where'd you get those?"
Dad: "From work" *looks at my speakers* "Hey, those are better than these...wait, they're better than what I have. Where'd you get those?"
Me: "Came with the computer."
