What's causing my videos and DVDs to print negative?

Basically, Win DVD, DIVx Player, and WMP are all displaying an odd washed
out "negative image" whenever I try to play something; what do you think
the culprit could be?
EDIT: Aha, I disabled Direct Draw in DXDIAG and now my videos play back
normally...is it either a bug on NVIDIA's behalf, or should I reinstall DX9c?

Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers; I think it might be a bug with the latest NVIDIA drivers, they've gotten real sloppy lately; what with the fatal crash bug for
LOMAC with the last release

You know, I have had the same problem lately. DVDs play alright, but if I use WMP or Real player, I get the washed out colors. I'm not sure, but it may have occured after I updated a my DVD drivers.

I completely wiped my system, and installed from fresh, still have the problems....

Ok, I've seen other people with this problem, too.
Right-click on your desktop, go to Properties:Settings:Advanced:<Video Card>(not Adapter; you want nVidia's config page):Color Correction
From the 'Apply changes to' drop-down menu, choose Overlay. From the Color Profile drop-down, choose 'Advanced'. The curved line in the box should become straight. Click Ok, Ok.
This should fix your washed-out colors. I've been having overlay problems with nVidia drivers for quite a while now; this is just one more.

The Deathstalker would buy you a beer if possible Shadowhawk. That fix appears to work. To bad Shep slicked his system.
