So, I've managed to secure some webspace and a domain name thanks to various sources. But, I'm having trouble actually logging into the site. According to the person I'm getting the hosting from, everything should be up and running, but my ftp client won't let me log in, so I can only assume that's the only problem at the moment. Right now I'm using FTP Commander basic, with no luck. Can anyone recommend another free ftp client I can use to log in?

I allways used Win Commander back in the days when i did that kind of stuff.

You did tell your firewall to let your FTP client connect, did you?

The client connects to other servers, but not the one I'm trying to access. So I don't think it's a firewall issue.

I use FileZilla.

Ah, it turns out that Wincommander has been renamed to Total Commander.

Thanks for the recommendations, the problem seems to be solved atm. If a mod wants, this can be closed.
