what is the event code for reducing the chances for rebellion? Or reducing the revolt risk? As Texas I have taken over the U.S. and Canada but the north east part of the U.S. keeps rebelling. How can I reduce the risk?

The nationalism RR steadily increases for 10 years after you conquer the territory, then will disappear. Don't cheat out of it, ya pussy!

I always cheat. :) I have more fun cheating than without. Less stress.

There is no "reduce revolt risk" cheat code. You can go into the save-game file and manually edit out the revolt risk in every single province.

Of course, you can always build more troops or increase your crimefighting budget to decrease RR.

I've done increasing the number of troops (some provinces had about 64k infantry) and a level three fortifications and the crimefighting budget at maximum but there are provinces that have about 13% revolt risk and rising.

A Texas that can conquer Mexico and the USA while maintaining multiple 64,000 man stacks as garrisons? You really do like to cheat.

Lower your taxes as much as possible, that reduces militancy. Since you're cheating anyway you shouldn't have too much trouble with income.

I normally have 24k troop as garrisons but 30k to 120k for trouble zones but no dice. Revolt risk is nearing 18%.

As for income, I've reduced it to 0 since the beginning of the game and upped social spending to max and made very generous changes in social reforms but still no dice. Should I just reduce most if not all of the population in the rebellious zones as soldiers?

I have to ask, what in the hell is the point of playing if you cheat your way out of every challenge the game throws at you? It's like playing Monopoly by manually placing the dice with the numbers you want face-up and raiding the bank for money anytime you want.

Eh, in games like HoI2 I usually cheat in a minor way, not in anything like "OMFG I HAVE ENDLESS RESOURCES AND TROOPS" but just to get personally annoying stuff out of the way.

There are levels of cheating.

It's one thing to cheat your way past a glitch (I've had to do that in Sim City 4) or some really annoying bit of gameplay, but that's not what Enigma is implying he's doing. He's just using cheats to play the game without having to actually play it.

Meh, my Germany campaign in HoI2 could be considered extensive cheating, because the entire resource system there is FUBAR, so I just ignored it.

Case in SC4, for me the challenge is in building working organized cities, not bothering about taxes, takes half the fun away for me, so I just ignore it.

I just told you why there's RR in new conquests.

EDIT:

Why even care that there are revolting provinces if you know there is no chance that they'll disrupt your game, anyway? It's not like you're going to be hampered by them.
