I recently bought a Live kit and hooked it up, but suprise suprise, the connection does not work. It told me in the connection screen it could not automatically find my IP address, so I had to enter it manually. To my great suprise (I am incredibly inept technically), I was actually able to find the needed info (IP, Mask, Gateway) but when I entered them in, I was informed that my Gateway could not be found. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?

Hook a laptop up and see if you can get it to connect.

Don't forget to forward ports 88(UDP) and 3074(TCP&UDP) to your xboxes IP.

As much as I know I will get reamed for this. Try turning UPnP on, this allow your xbox to tell your equipment want it needs and lets it forward it correctly.
