Laptop swap day at work

The lease on my old corporate laptop expired and today was the day for delivery of my new machine -- an experience that I anticipate with mild dread based on prior 'upgrades' provided by our IT Department.
They had their shit together on this one, though. Our tech came by my desk with a cart loaded with my new hardware (it probably didn't hurt that the tech is very cute and possibly the most well-endowed IT staffer in Seattle), we booted up the new laptop and she spent 5 minutes configuring me for local printers, wireless, and mail files, and I was done.
Dell D610 with a pokey 1.6gig Pentium Mobile processor, half a gig of RAM, a Radeon X300 PCI-Express graphics chip (64 megs), hot-swappable DVD/CDRW or floppy or spare battery (usually use the battery for 6-hour full video life), wireless-G, bluetooth, new docking station, etc. etc.
Now to re-create everything I liked and savor that week where Windows actually seems fast ... before you install shit.
