Basically, that's what I'm wondering. Price range being 400-1000 dollars.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

We already own Final Cut Pro for Mac so getting an iBook is probably best for us.
I so fucking hated using that programme in my Intro to Film/Video...something class (can't recall the actual course name at the moment) two years ago. So non-intuitive...Erik von Nein wrote:I thought as much. Someone asked me and I didn't really know so I thought to ask here.

Yeah, that's about what I was looking for. Thanks.Praxis wrote:*snip computer info*
Really? I found FCP/FCE to be about the same as any other NLE in my brief time that I've used it, though I had previous experience in Premiere and Xpress DV.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I so fucking hated using that programme in my Intro to Film/Video...something class (can't recall the actual course name at the moment) two years ago. Which one are you planning on getting?Erik von Nein wrote:Yeah, that's about what I was looking for. Thanks.Praxis wrote:*snip computer info*
Yeah, our G-4 we use for editing has dual 800 mhz processors right now so that shouldn't be a problem.
In all likelihood it will be the new one. Considering the person who wants to get it had a crappy used one given to him for a birthday present I think he'll be too weary of more used ones.Praxis wrote:Which one are you planning on getting?
Well that could be the problem. I find most of the general aspects for NLE to be rather non-intuitive. Or maybe it was just how FCP was organised that kept pissing me off.phongn wrote:Really?
