Creatures with Natural Weapons and Monks

I've got a question about a character I'm designing for an "End of Term Melee."

I've got a Monk Half-Dragon Lizardfolk Monster of Legend. Yeah, I know. Ow. Anyway, all three templates come with natural claw and bite attacks. The monk levels provide unarmed strike damage increase.

Ok, here's the question: The Claw/Bite attacks of a MoL have poison to them. If A monk were to attack with the claws, which damage would be used? The Blade damage or the monk damage?

Get out your Monster Manual, and use the damage progression for the same number of steps as the Monk boosts up an unarmed attack. Start with the heaviest claws from the template. And yes, poison stacks.

Yes. Ow. The only thing worse would be to give the fucker a Vow Of Poverty.

I would, but I don't have that book (I think)...where are those rules?

They should be freely avaliable in the d20 SRD.

Under 'Improving Monsters' at that link, I think.

No, it's not. It'd be easier to drop Paragon on this guy...but that would make me go over the level limit for this melee (a +15 ECL will do that).
