New Round of P2P Lawsuits from Hollywood

There is a new story on ZDNet about more lawsuits against P2P file sharers. The catch is that Hollywood is using the log files off Bit Torrent sites like Suprnova and LokiTorrent.

Heh.
A guy in my area is one of the ones being sued, and the first he heard about the suit is when the local paper called him to get his side of the story. :lol:

Um, you know, that's kind of the point of this thread. People who have been using Bittorrent are the current targets of lawsuits. Coming into a thread where people are being sued for using Bittorrent isn't exactly one where you should be extolling its virtues for the "information needs to be free" movement.

Combined with the fact that BT is much easier to target users due to the fact that the major torrent sites are generally either open systems or far easier to get at.
