got my paint scheme down (inspired by big kitties)
got my lizard bits for close combat weapons
got my lizard glyphs for more aztec looking hearldry and icons on my standards/vehicles
got my docterine of see but not seen, allowing my vehicle less infantry to take infiltrate, combined with my infiltrate+tank hunter las equipped devestator squads. and using speeders for "close air support" 2 tornados 1 typhoon
My brain is on fire, I can't figure out parent chapter, or a friggin name. Also are there any other chapter's that would allow me to have the same sneaky approch and use more speeders?

Raven Guard? They're sneaky and pretty weird.
As for names, my Aztec history is very rough and rusty to boot, afraid I can't help much there.

Why did you have to go pick the culture with the longest friggin' words, hrm?
Sons of Quetzaquoatl (Or however it's spelled)?

Huitzi Lopochthi was the Aztec god of war.
Tezcatlipoca was their god of darkness and deception.
I could see either fitting well for an Aztec-based chapter, although Tezcat might be a better choice, seeing as how Huitzi was also the hummingbird god
.

Quetzalcoatl. It's not *that* hard.

Yeah, but I was in a rush. And lazy.

Maybe you can use the same progenitor chapter as the
Tigers of Veda. Or the White Scars?
Are you planning on using a Feathered Serpents motif (which would carry over from the lizardmen parts)? Maybe the Sons of Quetzalcoatl is the way to go.
If you like the Jungle Cats route (your paint scheme for instance), you might name them after the Aztec's favorite big cats--the puma, the jaguar, and the cutlamiztli, or "Onza".
Otherwise I guess you're stuck with a long name and far too many consonants.

actually I do both.
in my back ground most of my army is the cat pattern which is supposed to be for the half of the chapter that represents the ground forces. The air mobile half of the chapter has the feathered serpent look. (this includes battle barge crews, tech marines, assault marines, speeder crews, thunder hawk crews, and the mostly unseen and unbuildable speeder transport crews.

If your looking for a parent chapter for a lizard based one isn't the blatantly obvious choice The Salamanders?
