What the heck is an "STGOD"?? i've looked at all the information, but it's all written from the assumption that you know what it is. Well, I don't. I would appreciate an answer.

Addendum:
A comprehensive list of terms and their meanings would help a lot. Is there one already? If so, where?
(What is an OOB?)

Okey, I'll start with the basics, an OOB is an Order of Battle, basicly a writeup of who you are, very much like a character sheet in RPG games, but for an empire(in the SDN stgod case).
The STGOD...well look here, we're running one, hell*writes post in it and comes back so its in the top*, the best way to describe is it reading Song of Ice and Fire
I have no idea what happened in the past STGODs(ya, bad time to make that admission) other then the generalities, but its a massive political thriller. Just look around, enjoy.

Funny, there's an answer in the
G&C Forum FAQ:

TGOD - The Good Old Days, a type of thread where the participants try to off one another in insane ways while avoiding death through loopholes and the like themselves.
STGOD - TGOD's for slightly less insane people, it stands for Structured TGOD. In a STGOD there is suprisingly more structure about what sort of things you can and cant pull...

U235...that defintion is useless, seriously, you can't make heads or tails without knowing actully what it is, and a 36 page thread is intimidating as hell just to look in.

Seems decently straightforward to me.
But maybe a participant ought to write up a better definition.

Lets say it this way... this current STGOD has yet to have massive war, its nothing like any TGOD I've seen, the description for the TGOD is dead on, the STGOD is massively wrong.

I might be killed for saying this, so I'll scoot off back to OSF soon, but the current STGOD really resembles a freeform SciFi RPG, or some sort of collaborative fiction enterprise. Maybe both.

Its a free form Sci-fi political thriller.
Don't worry, as soon as someone blinks it will turn intresting

Almost happened a couple days ago. If Spyder hadn't defused the situation, we'd be in the middle of a massive war right now.

I think that applies more to the plain ol' original TGOD where people tried to do just that... no political bullshit, nations, what have you; just good ol' one-on-one, gang-ups, quick temporary alliances that turn into backstabbing, that kind of thing...

Essentially, what happens in the chat and Testing from time to time, then.

More or less... here, they tend to go for the *structured* bit. In other words: Long, drawn-out, never-ending, and goddamn boring
