So I was playing "fantasy baseball" on ASB2003

I popped in All-Star Baseball 2003 tonight, with the intention of picking a roster of people who were free agents in 2002, handing control to the game, and throwing them to the wolves. It's actually very fun, you get attached to the team you've created.
So I bound my motley team together under the name "Belugas" and they were sent into battle with the Houston Astros. It was a grueling game, 13 innings long. In the end, however, a homerun by my shortstop gave us the win. A few comments
- Aforementioned shortstop is a friggin ninja. He dives for balls most people jump for. That and he's batting .500 and gave us the win at Houston.
- Leftfielder Mark Little can sprint and hit like there's no tomorrow. .600 and made some truly spectacular catches.
- Second baseman is not so good. After 5 at bats and 9 innings, he had a .000 batting average and nothing exemplory to make us keep him, so the computer put in someone else.
But now we're tied with the Mets for 1st in NL East, so Sunday night I'm going to sic the Belugas on Houston again.
