You know...it's crazy enough to work. Out of the fundie population, there have to be at least some saps who would buy such a thing. Cannabalize a few old crapheaps, find or make the needed case, screw around with it a bit, and let the suckers and their cash pour in.BloodAngel wrote:Does this mean I can build a Jesus computer? One really big hollow crucifix, and just slap the stuff inside?
Actually, it's looking a wee bit too shiney for me to think they just took a spoon to it. Looks like they probably hollowed it out so the shell was *really* thin (you can see that in the pic showing the interior of the 'case') and then dried it properly, varnished it, and presto. To be sure, you shouldn't let the inside get damp, but then you shouldn't do that with *any* computer...InnocentBystander wrote:I wouldn't want to be near that computer come next month
According to the pages documenting its construction, all they did after hollowing it out was let it dry overnight.Elheru Aran wrote:Actually, it's looking a wee bit too shiney for me to think they just took a spoon to it.
