For those of you that have MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries...

Things included:
Bunch of new weapons and mechs, all the weapons have a basis in CBT as well as most of the mechs. Some new mechs are completely made-up by MekTek, but they have the same feel as the 'real' CBT mechs and none of them feel overpowered or like they don't belong.

Battle Armors! You heard me, Elemental, Salamander, IS Standard, and more. Plus they have their own BA exclusive weapons.

New Maps - Everyone likes new multiplayer maps. It even includes a few BA exclusive maps. It get better! They have managed to include AI controlled vehicles and aircraft into some of the new maps, how cool is that!?

Pure Tech Enforcer - If a particular server wants a pure-tech only game, activating the enforcer means putting Clan weapons in IS mechs or the other way around will result in the weapon being unusable.

New Slots - Direct Fire (B & E), Ammo Consuming (M & B), and Heat Generating (E & M) slots. Did it bother you that the Mad Cat MkII could only carry ballistic weapons on its arms? The new direct fire slots allow you to build a PPC- and Gauss-carrying Mech-of-DOOM, while still making it impossible to put missles there, as would happen with an Omni slot. Some other mechs have had their slots updated, but the new slots are mostly used in the new mechs.

Greater Max Armour for Assault Mechs - Note that the base armour values remain the same. However, if a player is willing to sacrifice some speed, heatsinks, or weapons, then they can add in more armour to their assault mechs.

126 Mechs TOTAL! - If you have Mercenaries, the two Microsoft MechPacks (IS and Clan), and the MekTek MechPack 3.

Notes: The descriptons (but not the names or icons) of the mechs are screwed-up in the campaign Free Market screen, but you should have pretty much everything memorized by now. The MechPack 3 mechs have a "+" in front of the name, the mechs from the other Unoficial MekTek MechPacks (1 and 2) don't have this and are scattered among the original Mechs. Also, the Inferno LRMs and I think a couple of other things are bugged at the moment, MekTek is working on it.

EDIT - Unfortunately the MekTek site goes down on occasion, bandwith overload I guess. Just wait for a while and it should come back up.

Wow. It might be time to reinstall Mechwarrior!

Yeah, this one rules. Sure, it's the old, old and never that great MW4 engine, but... it still rules. I especially like how they have managed to balance things so that pretty much everything is usable, and in a way that makes sense (btech-wise).
