That's right you meat bag weaklings. You've become old and weak waiting for the new cyberpunk edition. It's a good thing metal don't age (snort!).
Of course it is possible, however unlikely, that some of you old farts still have what it takes to take it to the edge. That's the place where people like me thrive and people like you get turned into spare parts. (hehe!)
So if you're lucky enough, dumb enough or by some miracle as good as you think you are. It's time to put on your coolest wear, load up your hottest chips, dust off that Colt AMT model 2000 just in case some booster boy thinks he has what it takes and hit the street. I ain't fading away and neither should you.

I never could have dreamed this. Cyberpunk 2030 V.3 is going to the printers. And only after 10 years of waiting! None of you thought you'd live to see the day.
Well, I for one can't wait to get my hands on this. Cyberpunk was afterall the game that had complexity way beyond basic D&D. It was the game that got me into doing new rules and modifications. It was the bomb.
For the first time for a long while there is a RPG I just have to get.

So declare yourselves fellow punkers. I know you're out there.

Sweet!

I like the world, but I was never a fan of the old systems rules mechanics. A bit klunky.

Sorry, this just boggles the mind. The INTERLOCK system isn't flawless, but it is damned good, especially when compared to stock D20.

FUZION, by the way, is essentially an upgraded version of INTERLOCK. The mechanics were pretty similar in the demo game of Cyberpunk V.3 I was in this year at I-Con (run by Mike himself, there was/is a picture of us all on the R.Talsorian website). The big thing they've done is break up previous "god stats" so that someone who's good at lockpicking or pickpocketing isn't necessarily a god at hand to hand or gunplay.

The setting, by the way, has undergone a massive shift. They'll include a method for playing the previous setting with the new rules (which I look forward to), and the new setting looks like it will be a tremendous amount of fun, but it's not 2020. I'm just putting that out there. It's far more cinematic than gritty.

Is it a continuation of the old setting (like CyberGeneration, or that Mekton supplement), or something new?

It is a continuation of the old setting. Cybergeneration is considered a sort of "what if?" offshoot, not canon to the current storyline, though the carbon plauge still did happen, it just had different results.
