Can you reccomend a (free) PDF Editor?

What the title said. I'm currently using the trial version of Adobe Designer, and am not entirely happy with it (though I do realize that the purchased version is more powerful). I was wondering if any of you knew a good PDF editor - ideally one that may be downloaded for free - and where to find it. Also, it should ideally be a user friendly kind of thing since I happen to be a lazy bastard that wants to postpone learning XML like he should for as long as possible...

Well, OpenOffice can export to PDF, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

If you actually want to edit - rather than simply generate - PDF, you're pretty much stuck with using Adobe's various tools.

Curses. Well, convertability is fine: I can always save the documents both as .PDF and as .WOSSNAME files, and edit the latter, then convert.

Serif PagePlus 6.0 is now free-ware I believe (I got a free version of it through a magazine promo...)

Its pretty powerful, but is a pain in the arse for some things.
