Just in case you guys get tired of debating :D There's a Total Annihilation Wikibook at:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Total_Annihilation

It could use some work, and I know some here hold TA in high regard (myself included)

Here's a way to lure yet more folks to Total Annihilation, Supreme Commander, and Macro-RTS in General (pun not intended)

I love total annihilation. Its 8 years old and still fresh as when I first bought it. Can't wait for its "spiritual sucessor," Supreme Commander. Cool Wiki.

Is there any way to get this soundtrack legally? Sounds nifty

Not to sure how legal it is, but here has the TA sound track. They have a policy of no waraz there or any illegal stuff so it should be alright.

I am taking the saferoute regarding copyrighted stuff.

All TA fans might find this interesting... It's basically an open-source full - 3D remake of good ol' TA. (Link goes straight to the screenshot page, for your convenience 8))
There was a post about it here some time ago, but no one seemed to take any notice for some reason... Anyway, Spring Rules All.

That doesn't let you do the "fire at your feet" trick. ): How good can it be?

A TA sequel? Why wasn't I informed?!

Be warned that Spring isn't merely a conversion into 3D. Several gameplay changes were made as well, which you may or may not like, but definetly changes the gameplay of TA.

The default 'XTA' setup in Spring is indeed crap. However, I'm pretty sure it ships with 'OTA' settings too now, so you get the original balance. Most of the XTA changes shit me to tears, so I just stick to the NATO/MOSPACT mod :)
