Who is your pet Tekken character?

On most fighting games, people tend to gravitate towards one character. Always playing as that particular character for some reason.Usually they'll know a few of the key moves and such.
Mine is Steve, the English boxer. I grew to like him because I like boxing.
Now you name yours, and maybe a reason.

Lee.
And anyone who says that cheap-ass bitch character Eddie or that annoying bitch protege of his from Tekken 4 is gonna get ... something.

Bryan. He looked like he was from the Sex Pistols. And he had the Cheesy Kick Onslaught.

Old Link on super smash bros melee. Though I link Marth, Sammus and Young Link too, it is Old Link I use all the time because of in my mind he has an excellent balance of speed and power (and you can do cheesy stuff with him if you have a turbo function on your joy pad
) .

Hwoarang. I kick ass with Hwoarang.

*smack* Link is not a Tekken character.

Tekken? Hmmm, I prefer Paul for his super punch move but I don't like the character... Ask me again in the SSBM thread I'll start once this thread dies

Nina or one of the Mishis.

Paul, Hwoarang, Baek, King, Heihachi and Kazuya. Jin to a lesser extent.

Feng, but he's new in Tekken 5. Before that it was Marduk (and still is to an extent), Before that it was Jin, but I kinda dropped him when they changed him around for Tekken 4. Before that I'm not really sure. My Tekken playing history doesn't really extend back that far before number 3.
Other favourites include Nina, Anna, and Baek.
Why Feng? not too sure. I just work better with him than with the other characters, plus I seem to be able to catch people off guard a lot with his moves.

Jin, Paul, and Bryan.
I kinda like Steve, but he's broken in Tekken 5.

Eddie was a cheap fucking whore of a character, notch up another for Lee. The most annoying character in the game.
Or, if there is the option, Jack Jr from Tekken 5.

Heihachi could be pretty fucking cheap too. I realise he's supposed to be the boss in various games, but goddamn is he one tough sonofabitch to beat.

Nothing is as cheap as Jinpachi - the worst boss ever.

Lei Wulong. Man, I could deal Jackie Chan level carnage with him at times, but I also learnt to use Jack's brute force and then Xiayou for agility.

Have to second Lei. I was decent with him to start, but once I learned how his stances flowed into each other, I was dangerous against anyone.

I'm fucking invincible with Hwaorang. For Tekken Tag I would toss in Eddy as his partner

Because Cheese with a side salad of Cheese is such a unique combination!

Yes, Eddie is pure cheese, but dammit, that combination works so well together in Tekken Tag.

King for 6 part grapple of doom combos, fun when they didn't get broken. Though without making custom buttons on the PS2 controller I would never pull them off.

That's because he suffers from
SNK boss syndrome.
If your character has got a fast move that can knock him over (eg. Bryan's Mach Punch) then your sorted as you can time it to keep on knocking him over and running into him if he goes too far.
If you haven't got a move like that then i find it's just luck if you can beat him. If you could play as him i'd only need two moves, the one that breaks your block and another one to hit you with after, or maybe the double fireball, because nothing is more annoying than dodging one fireball to suddenly find he fires another one with no warning at all!

It's the Eddie + Hwoarang combination that makes it really magic, though: you can both juggle people with kicks indefinately by alternating buttons, or dance around like a fairy in an unblockable fashion!

SNK Boss Syndrome has made me cry in frustration. I have been bested, and thy name is GOOSE or GEESE or what the fuck ever. Worst day of my life.
That's the key to Bryans cheese: he's got some juggling, some power, and now blickity-blam dodgey combo bullshit moves that most Bryan-players never use. AND a throw involving punching someone in the guts and cackling.

You have obviously never heard of SNK Boss Syndrome.
And I choose Christie.
