Good news: Patch has been released, downloadable via the in-game 'check for updates' facility. Significant performance increase and in game tweaks.

Bad news [for me]: I have no internet on my gaming laptop now I am home from uni and thus no way of updating it until mid-Jan. :(

That's absurd, there are dozens of ways of getting data from 1 computer to another. Have parallel cable? Bam (it'll take a day but big deal). Crossover cables are easy to get/make. You might be able to burn a CD, heck you should be able to break apart the file with winrar and fit it on a disk, depending on how big the update is, it might only take a few trips. Could get yourself a flash drive as a gift to yourself; they're a great and fairly inexpensive way to move data around.

Be resourceful :P

SHIT! OF COURSE! MY MP3 PLAYER!

Woo thanks mate that was an excellent idea! 44mb may be slow on dial up but it's certainly better than weeks! Downloading now!

If we had cool clicks on this forum, you would be getting one right now! :)

When I check for updates, none come up.

Edit:Nevermind, something changed between this afternoon and right now.

Edit2: Whats this? New complications! Now it sits on "Downloading 0/-1 bytes" for a while then tells me the dl failed.
