So I recently got to the end of Mechassault 2 for Xbox, and I'm stuck at the uber-boss at the end, the gigantic torso-mech that involves a whole load of running away to survive.

Anyways, After I blast his skull and neurohack him, I can't seem to mortar him into oblivion. It says "shoot a mortar down his skull", and I manage to get several in place, but I always get speared by the laser-eyes or the flamer before I can kill him.

Anyone got tips?

You've just gotta try and avoid his laser eyes, and stay far enough away to avoid the flamer.


Try staying off to the side and laying into him with a couple fully powered up mortar rounds.

It took me at least six tries to beat him. It's not an easy fight
