DVD player cleaning kits...

Post by Dillon »

Anyone know anything about these and if they actually work? My Toshiba skips like a motherfucker whenever I play DVD's, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. Any suggestions?

They work.

There is small brushes on the bottom of the cleaning disc and a small bottle of some alchol to clean the grease of the lens.

IMO all is about equal, just get the cheapest one.

Hmmm. Is it normal for the timer to really lag, and to see all kinds of weird static on the screen while it's cleaning? It's been 20 minutes, and it's only gotten to 4:20.

EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out, and it seems to be playing damned smooth now. Thanks.
