I just bought an iSight and my girlfriend has a Logitech webcam; I have a Mac mini with OS X 10.4 and she has a laptop with Windows XP Home. Now I'm trying to figure out what the best video chat program is.
- AIM on Windows and iChat on Mac - This has worked for us already, but the video quality on AIM end leaves something to be desired.
- MSN Messenger - My girlfriend likes MSN video chat better than AIM, but the Mac version of MSN Messenger does not have video capability as far as I know.
- aMSN - This is a free open source MSN clone that offers MSN video chat for Mac, but the help docs say that the video chat does not yet include audio.
