I was cleaning my keyboard today and in the process pushed something, I know not what- while I was watching something on PowerDVD- now, when I fast forward or rewind, advance a frame, take a screenshot, etc, I can't see the little black box up in the corner with the green text that tells me what command was just entered- I tried looking through the menus, but I don't know how to bring it back. Anyone know?

Configuration General Advanced Options OSD Settings Enable might do the trick.

You were cleaning your keyboard while it was connect to your computer/while the computer was running? Pfft, you deserve everything that happened.
