Transferring music to the Xbox (not 360)

So I've searched and searched, and all I've found is blah blah blah 360, etc. So, my question to all you good citizens here is: What free method can I use to transfer some of my extensive mp3 collection to my Xbox without having to re-rip all my cds? I have a wireless router that my pc is connected to, and my Xbox isn't actually hooked up to it, but it could be. Alternatively, I could physically hook both my Xbox and my pc to a hub, disconnecting them from the rest of the network, if that will allow me to do the same.

For the original xbox the only way is with a CD-RW (CD-R's don't read on the older drives) And burn it as an Audio CD.

The original Xbox was designed before iTunes took off, and at the time, MS didn't want to encourage pirac, since most people who had music on their computers at the time had gotten it from P2P. The idea of ripping CD's to you hard-drive didn't take off in the mainstream until iTunes 4, which brought about the Music Store.

Desertfly, do you have Xbox Media Centre installed?
