I don't have much info about this new segment into the Halo saga. When is it coming out it? Is worth $80, i'm just guessing the price, and for that matter what is the price? What is the difference going to be between it and the second one? My friends tell me Cortana is going to be a bad guy, or in this case, girl. Are there going to be more vehicles? Can you play as different guys (actually this would be kind of gay)? But most importantly I want to know this one more than all the others. Why oh why is it only for the X-box 360?

1) Whats the difference? For one, its going to be on the Xbox360, pretty graphics. Otherwise we're not expecting massive changes.

2) No one knows anything about the story, trust Bungie info, or get burned.

3) Why do you think its on the Xbrick? Its Microsofts Cash Game.

Sidenote: Work on the bloody english. Throwing gay around as an adjective can get you into hot water.

Wait a couple of years after the Xbox 360 release, and you too can have a perfectly botched attempt for home PC or Apple Mac.

Bungie hasn't even announced that Halo 3 is their next game, but Bill Gates said that Bungie is working hard to make sure Halo 3 is a great game. As of right now, there is absolutely no information about the game. The game should play better than Halo 2, and have amazing graphics. Personally, I can't wait to play it.

I should comment: Gates said that Halo 3 will come out at the same time as the PS3. Of course, shortly thereafter, Microsoft's X-Box guys said this was meant 'philosophically'. Which is Corporate-speek for 'There's no way in hell we're gonna have it done by then.' So expect to wait a bit.

Yeah, I was looking forward to getting Halo 3 when the PS3 came out - I was devastated when Microsoft retracted that statement. The internet's best and brightest conspiracy theorists think the game will come out when the movie does in summer 2007. That leaves the 140+ Bungie employees a looong time to perfect the game, and seeing as they already have a playable version of their next project (presumably Halo 3), the game should be amazing when it does come out.

Usually a demo comes out about a year or so before the actual game comes out. So is there absolutly any information on the game or demo?

What? A year? That's news to me. Demos comonly come out a few months before to a few months after the release date, several games don't even bother with demos.

Halo 3 will certainly have a demo released over Live Marketplace. That being the 360's USP and all.

But before that there will be enough trailers and hype to propel Halo fanboys to the moon.

And we've heard nothing yet. (Remember, it was two years from the first Halo 2 demo at E3 before that hit).

Expect something for this year's E3, nothing before.

I think that's being a little optimistic. Personally, we probably won't see anything until XO6 late this summer - that is, if the game is coming out summer 2007.

Expect them to go for E3. It gets far more press and public attention than Xbox events ever will.

Bungie hasn't even announced that they're working on it yet. Until they say anything, everything is rumours.

As for your last question, the answer should be ridiculously obvious. The original X-Box is 2001 technology. Even if Halo 3 were being released today, they would put it on the new console.

There's absolutely nothing known about Halo 3. I would have posted just what the others said: That it wasn't even being worked on at the moment by Bungie, nor was it going to come out at the same time as the PS3.

And then I would have locked it.
