Is it possible to use a normal keyboard with a laptop computer? My laptop doesn't have a keyboard jack, but I know there are USB keyboards.

Another question. Do they make adapters so you can plug a normal keyboard in through a USB port?

Those should work on the laptop without any problems.

I believe so. Try a store like Circuit City, which generally has every kind of adapter you can want.

I think there are major benefits to doing so. I buggered my laptop keyboard recently through an encounter with some drinks and some flour, the laptop itself was fine but the keyboard was knackered. Although it took a hell of a lot more space, I actually found that my posture for using the laptop improved dramatically when I used a regular keyboard with it. Now I'm back to using a functional laptop again, I'm getting a damn sore neck again.
