E-Mail

I started getting them about a week ago. Mails. Each time from a new person. Advertisement mails. Namely, ads for certain "enhancement" products. Gimme a break, I'm 14This is harassment, pure and simple.

What I want to know, is WHY they started. Is this an automated system masking itself? Do I have a security breach? Can I stop it? And lastly, is it safe to sign up that address for UNLIMITED SPAM?

Yeah, I started getting them when I was 12. A long time ago.

Basicly, if you posted your email publicly somewhere on the internet, they have computers that shift through web sites and collect email addresses then send hundreds of spam emails to them.

That's why sites like this exist. Spammers suck.

I haven't posted my E-Mail anywhere but here.
Spammers should be rounded up and be forced to read their own junk.

Likely a dictionary attack. Highly illegal, but impossible to enforce. Check your computer for viruses and spyware anyway. HTH.

I do this:

I have an ISP account that I keep highly secret sharing it only with close friends and relatives who I know will keep their PC's secure so that my address won't get scooped up by a virus or malware from their addressbook. I also have a gmail account that I use indiscriminantly. If I want to recieve e-mail from someone who I gave my gmail address to, I set up a filter to forward the e-mail they send to my gmail account to my ISP account. That way everything that gets to my ISP account is controlled.
