I need to start getting into the market. I'm not serious enough about the game to warrant planning that out though, and I can't afford the significant loss that making miners into UU would have.

I am just now getting into being able to use the market. I doubt any of you are ready to use the market yet. You make a lot more naq by selling those market turns. You can make a lot of naquadah by selling your market turns, and to make it even better, I am buying. 8)

Hmmn, the new market setup seems to be a little screwball. It wouldn't take my mining bots or my unused units (this was around 7:00 AM EST).

After a lightning blitz of 8 different realms, enough resources have been gathered for the Mothership Edge of Midnight to be constructed. I am also now earning over 1 million naquadah per turn, with a growth rate of 1225 units per day. On the downside, my X-302s are still damaged, and I have roughly jack shit left in liquid resources, so I'll be rebuilding for a few turns and arming the Mothership (currently 8 nuclear volleys and 5 energy shields).

If you declare war prior to each attack, you can net an average of 50 mil naq per 15-turn attack. That's what I meant by using the turns to finance your UP. The way it works out, you'll make more naq using the turns to attack than you would if you traded units directly for naq. However, trading units or turns into naq is the only way of getting large amounts of naq for the more costly projects, such as upgrading your spy level past 17, or large-scale upgrades of your mothership.

If I had done that, I would've ended up able to purchase the Mothership, but not put any equipment on it. I figured equipping the ship with at least a little equipment was worth only partially repairing the fighters.

he doesn't have enough naq to make it worthwhile, and you've sabbed him so many times I can't see if he has any units to raid.
