Online Music Subscription Thingy?

Ok, yeah, as the thread title might suggest, I don't know the first thing about the whole (legal) mp3 services. I'm interested in something that lets me buy individual songs or some sort of subscription service plan, anything that lets me indulge my desire for certain arbitrary songs or artists as they occur to me, and is not iTunes.

I've got a Black Sabbath itch that needs scratching, as well as the need for various Dire Straits, Survivor, and Kenny Loggins songs (), and as I live amidst the Rocky Mountains shopping isn't exactly very convenient.

Emusic is supposedly good for indie music (no DRM!)

Allofmp3 has all the benefits of a legal downloading service for a fraction of the price, but I believe it's still illegal to use them. It's legal by Russian law, so they're OK, but the person who buys from them isn't.

Thanks guys. I tried allofmp3 and it seems to be pretty good, unfortunately I couldn't get it to work well. Emusic has a pretty poor selection, and I can't find most of the stuff I want... any other suggestions?

If you use allofmp3, download their explorer instead of accessing them through IE or Firefox. That will probably fix all your problems.
