It's to keep people from ganging up. Trust me, when the clan is attacked by two or more clans at the same time, it ain't pretty.

Been about three years since I last played, but I'll try again. What happened to our last clan? I remember just losing interest after the end of the second or third round and then seeing it mentioned on the board less and less.
