Just taking the pulse of SDN on CoH/V. Anyone? All of my friends on WoW have migrated to EQII, begging me to go with them until after expansion, which I absolutely will not do-such is my hatred for SOE. so I'm thinking...what can Chardok do until the expansion comes out since nobody I know is on WoW?
Why migrate to another game where maybe I DO know someone who I can hang out with! I thought it would be nice to lay the imperial smackdown in Liberty City or Freedomtown or whatever, since I already have CoH, and, if it's worth it, I may go ahead and purchase CoV as well.

I tried City of Hero's and Villians. Personally i found the best bit to be designing the character. The game itself bored me. Check out MMOPG.com and the like, usually they are offering loads of free trials, then you can see several for yourself before you commit to actually paying for one.

I'm currently on hiatus, but I'm a major fan of CoH.

I've played CoV, I cant say I was that impressed. Sure the character creation is great, but that's about it. My major problem with it was that you really didn't feel like a villian. It just didnt grab me by the balls the way WoW did. The game world felt really uninspired, and lacking in major landmarks.
Maybe if I stuck with it, the base building seems interesting. Apparently the PvP isnt the best, and thats a major turn off.
Though I've given up WoW too, my friends and I are thinking about getting back into it, and since there's 5 of us we're planning on playing as a 5 man all druid party.

I'm playing CoH/V, too. Mostly Heroes, though. I'm on Infinity.
My Global handle is @McNum.
Currently I have a low level Controller, a high level Blaster and a mid level Mastermind going on. That Blaster is kind of crazy, though. It's a melee Blaster (or "Blapper" for those that know the terminology) and she is absolutely insane to play. Especially in the 40s.

CoV is a good game for the non-hardcore mmo-gamer.
