Anyone know of a good Japanese dictionary for download?

I'm currently using FreeLang dictionary which seems to be pretty decent, but was wondering if there might be something else out there worth downloading.

Does it specifically have to be free and for use on computer? If so, then your options are somewhat limited.

Specifically for the computer, yes.

I'd be willing to look at something with a price if it's significantly better than what is free.

EDICT is the largest, most effective Japanese dictionary that I've encountered. It's only available as a database file, which you need to plug into a program that knows how to read it. I use JWPce for this -- it's a word processor / dictionary program that was created to provide an IME interface prior to MS introducing their own, but which I still use to look up stuff. I also hear that RikaiChan is a Firefox plugin for a similar purpose (dictionary using EDICT to look things up), but I haven't tried it.

Hongfire forums have some links to excellent dictionaries, I use Jlookup. Though I can't remember where I got it from anymore.

Considering they have a torrent section on their forums, I'd be a bit leery about mentioning that site, myself. Given legal issues and everything. . .
