Seperating Itunes librarys help

Post by The Grim Squeaker »

Does anyone know how to make a seperate itunes library? On the same computer, but using a seperate (External) hard drive?

So that I can add music to it without it using the music from my old Itunes library that is located on a seperate disk.

Doesn't iTunes have anything resembling a playlist function like Winamp has?

It does, but I need to keep the libraries seperate.

I'm putting all of my parents music on their new ipod, with the new music being held on an external hard drive, and I don't want the music messing up my library.
(My normal library is on a hd on my computer which can't hold another 40GB of new music anyway)
