Programs similar to Stardock?

Lately I've been toying around with Objectdock for Windows, and I was wondering if there were any other similar programs to things like WindowBlinds and Stardock. Preferably freeware, but if they're good enough I'll consider paying for them. (At present I'm running Windows 2000, but want to spruce up the look). So, if anyone's got recommendations, it'd be cool.

Why not use the UXTheme patch ?

Then you can use any style you want. Here is a decent site to get them.

You could also try the Deviant Art section for Windows Visual Styles. That's usuallyl where I either find new and exciting looks or links to same.

You'll find a lot of Vista and OS X look alikes - and I mean a lot. I've been using XPMC (sorry, no linky) and Code Opus derivations for quite some time.

As far as Stardock is concerned, I've tried it a few times and I find it gets in my way. It acts like the Quick Launch bar and I can use that without installing another program. (And after using the dock on Mac OS 9 and X, it pales in comparison.)

But that's just my opinion.
