A lot of people have stories about some Sony products failing, but the best king of proof of the lack of QA comes from engrish being used in their new flagship product:

They've got multiple shots from different angles - a bit much for a Photoshop job.

White text on a black background isn't all that difficult though. I mean, I know Sony's not the greatest on quality control, but surely even they wouldn't botch something this obvious, right?

These pics are not from E3, they are more recent, from Sony's Ginza showroom in Japan.
