Hey, my IPod Nano is acting up and I was hopeing that someone could help me. Yesterday, I was using it just fine and then, bam, no good.

The Pod says that I have the same space available, but when I go to music and so on, there are no files, no albums, songs, artists, so on. My PC's HD is dead so I did get to try and reset it through ITunes, and when I tried it on a friends computer, ITunes said that it could not be read. I really don't want to send it back to apple, but that seems to be the only option I have right now. But before I do that I thought that maybe someone here might have some ideas. Any clue?

Maybe the database is corrupt? Have you accessed it like a disk to see if there's any data on there? iTunes reads the songs etc from an xml database, and that could be busted.

Hmm. Did you go to the website for Apple and try their troubleshooting?

I am also confused: did the reset work or were you unable to do it?

Apple was little help, the only thing I could really do was the put hold on and then press the button to reset it, the rest of the TS steps needed a computer and, well shit, my hard drive died. But I am going to get my GF's laptop tonight so I might be able to fix it then...
