Firefox was working fine this morning and now i try to open it and nothing happens. i tryied to reinstall it but that didnt help. The only thing i did to the computer was install a Mcafee internet security suite. Is mcafee the problem or is it something else?

Check if Mcafee is blocking it and for the love of god why?

i dont like mcafee either and i dont have it on my computer. I checked to if its blocking it and it says it has full access. i also tried to uninstall then reinstall and it didnt help.

Borked profile perhaps? Does firefox.exe show up in the task manager at all?

Try making another profile and see if that one works. If it does, just import your bookmarks and cookies manually.

ok it works now...

all i have to say is that mcaffe sucks.
