I Googled, said it was for Shockwave, but it won't play it. What the hell is an SWA file and how do I play it?

Try opening it with your browser. Is your Macromedia Flash up to date?

Ok, did that. No luck. Everything is updated.
I am using Power Iso to run the file as a disk. There doesn't seem to be an install file or anything.

.SWA is one of a few 'file types' with multiple meanings.
It could be a shockwave file, or it could be a special type of compressed file (like .ZIP, but much less common) that usually contains some sort of animation file (Usu. Flash or Shockwave)
freeware WinAce should be able to open it if the latter, but watch out becasue it comes with when.U save, a mild malware that set off every spyware detector I had but took HiJackThis to actually get rid of.
